Top Ten Polling Slides - Harvard/Harris, Gallup, and the Fed.

Yesterday, I spoke to a trade association and asked the audience to describe the American political system in one word. “Divisive”, “Adversarial”, and “Partisan” were the answers.

The most important issues:
What are people doing about inflation? According to the Fed’s annual survey: (ALSO not part of their mandate)
The Fed also tracks what American say about their financial situation:
On immigration (back to Harvard/Harris)
Race? Let’s look at defendants, college and medical school admissions:
On China?
Do people want to choose between Biden and Trump? Nope.

But that’s the most likely outcome.

Even though a majority of both parties and indepedents want another choice:

Herb Stein’s law “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.” The only question in regards to the American political system is When?
With both parties lining up so early behind Biden and Trump nominees, take the Under.
There are just too many other candidates jumping in. The coming shift is generational and seismic.
